FLEETCO Built First Crime Scene Unit For NCIS
Fleetco Was Tasked By The Gulf Coast NCIS Office To Convert A Surplus Navy Ambulance Into A Crime Scene Response Unit. Fleecto Completed The Conversion With New Paint Scheme, Rooftop Platform and Interior Cabint Modifications. The Unit Was Sent To Washinton DC Where It Was Used A Model By The Producers Of The TV Show NCIS. There Are Unconfirmed Reports That This Unit Was Actually Used In A Number Of The Early Episodes. We Have Not Been Able To Verify That Report. Fleetco Subsequently Converted 3 More Surplus Ambulances. One Has Gone To The West Coast and One To Hawaii. The Final One Was Last Reported To Be In Virginia.
